Restorative Yoga Day 8

Welcome To Day 8

Forward fold is the easiest way to stretch out the hamstrings, and strengthen the core.

It relaxes your heart.

Hold the forward fold for 8 – 12 breaths and relax but hold your leg muscles, and core tight, this prevents injury.

Allow gravity to lower you down at it’s own slow speed.

You can also lay across a pillow, use yoga blocks or a soft blanket to help you stretch in comfort.

As always listen to your body and only stretch as far as it feels comfortable.

The rule of thumb is If it HURTS Don’t do it.. Back off and go just before that.

If you are experiencing pain it is causing damage, so always listen to your body.
